After watching Adipurush, one thing has become clear to me that Aryabhatta only invented Zero to rate this film! If you are planning to buy tickets for this movie, also buy some Saridon tablets for the safe side.
To be honest, the only advantage of watching Adipurush is that it will increase respect for the dialogues of Race 3, the VFX of Jani Dushman and the expressions of Katrina Kaif!
Adipurush Screenplay
Let’s start with the screenplay. The screenplay of this film is so slow that you will be reminded of the 2G network of Uninor! Post-second half, emotions in the film disappear just like ICC trophies from team India after 2013!
Director Om Raut has been highly unsuccessful in bringing the epic story like Ramayana to the big screen. Instead of glorifying the character of Shree Ram, Om Raut has made a cheap version of Bahubali in the package of Adipurush. It would be better to play a video game for an hour rather than watch the climax of this film.
Acting
Now come to acting. Prabhas has completed the whole movie with just one expression. Throughout the movie, there are several scenes where Prabhas screams unnecessarily, even though Lord Ram’s character is supposed to be calm and graceful.
As for Kriti Sanon, she did her best to play Sita’s character. However, she is being trolled for wearing modern clothes in the movie. On the other hand, Sunny Singh does not fit well in his role as Laxman. Even Salman Khan’s cameo in Pathan was much longer than the role of Laxman in the entire movie!
Somehow Saif Ali Khan succeeded in leaving an impression with his portrayal of Ravana, despite being trolled due to his weird get-up and modern hairstyle.
Dialogues
Manoj Muntashir has written the dialogues for the film. Perhaps it would be better to say that he wrote those dialogues for “Gully Boy” but later used them in Adipurush!
In many scenes of the film, Hanuman can be heard delivering cheap dialogue and ‘Whatsapp jokes’. How the censor board passed the film is now a bigger question than the reason for casting Arjun Kapoor in Panipat!
Adipurush VFX
We all saw the level of VFX in the teaser of the film. Now, after watching the whole film, it is clear that the animation of Super Mario is a thousand times better than the animation used in this film!
The fun fact is that the film has made with a massive budget of 600 crores. And where the 600 crore spent on this film holds a greater secret than the Bermuda Triangle!

Music
Ajay-Atul’s Jai Shree Ram song is the only good thing about the movie. It will give you goosebumps. Background music is also quite impressive, but not enough to do damage control for the entire movie.
The Last Word
Overall, the least we can do is save three people from watching Adipurush and further tell them to save three more. And if you already watched the movie, then you must watch Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan to detox your mind.
From my side, I will give it a one-star just for the Jai Shree Ram Song. Otherwise, the film is the biggest tragedy for humanity after the covid 19.
